The problem

Women returning after pregnancy, childcare, eldercare or a career break are often filtered out for the gap in their CV, not judged on their skills. Employers who can offer flexibility struggle to find them. GraceWorks needed a platform that brings both sides together, and a system to run it.

What I built

  • Free profiles for job seekers that lead with skills, hours and preferred way of working, filled in faster from an uploaded CV.
  • Role matching that shows how well each job fits a candidate’s skills, arrangement and available hours, with search by arrangement, job type and career area.
  • Employer accounts to post roles with honest hours and pay, and to open vetted shortlists when ready to hire.
  • An applicant dashboard to follow every application, plus self-paced courses and mentorship requests.
  • The internal system behind the platform, which I designed and built from the ground up and ran and supported day to day until July 2026.

Outcome

Live and growing, with roles posted by verified employers including RAJI Global, and every application reviewed by a real person.
